The Most awaited Sheikh Zayed Festival started on 18 November: More than 4,500 events planned

The festival started on 18th November 2021 is named after the founding father, late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who played a pivotal role in preserving the heritage of the UAE. The 50th-anniversary celebrations of the founding of UAE have built the excitement three-folds. The cultural extravaganza that began on 18th November 2021 will run till April 1, 2022.

The official Insta handle of Sheikh Zayed festival shared the announcement of the upcoming festival on 7th November 2021,  with the caption,

We are looking forward to welcoming you at the opening of #SheikhZayedFestival on November 18!​ Experience a family-friendly atmosphere full of various entertainment and cultural activities.​

Over 22,500 participants from all over the world are expected to take part in the festivities. More than 4,500 events, 650 performances, and 130 workshops will be conducted at the festival. Visitors can expect wonderful entertainment activities, lots of surprises, and assured fun for the whole family.

The festival is a remarkable international event in UAE and Abu Dhabi’s global calendar. Glow Garden, Fireworks Weekly Show, Year of 50 Zone, funfair city, off-road motorcycle racing, international pavilions, famous buildings replicas, and illusion structures are the standout events planned.

The official Twitter handle of Sheikh Zayed Festivals shared a glimpse of the preparations on 16th November 2021.

Visitors can enjoy the concerts, fireworks, delicacies from all over the world, theaters, etc. Till April, you can plan every weekend according to the upcoming events. The festival’s timings are 4 PM to 12:00 AM on weekdays, and on Thursday, Friday, and national holidays the time is from 4 PM to 1:00 AM.

Free regular bus drives are arranged from Abu Dhabi bus station (3 PM), Cooperative Association (3:30 PM), and Bani Yas Bus Station (4 PM). The entry to the festival will cost you Dh5 per person. However, it is absolutely free for the people of determination, children under the age of 3, and senior citizens.

The outstanding new addition this year is a first-of-its-kind fountain, international shows, and 3D hologram shows.
