Located off Jumeirah Road, Kite Beach is about 21 km from the Dubai International Airport and 5 km from Burj Al Arab. In Jumeirah 3, this well-known seashore is near the Al Manara Road junction. The shore is close to the upscale Jumeirah Beach Residence, commonly called JBR, and the Dubai Marina.

The coastline is free for all, so you do not have to pay any fee to access it.

How to reach Kite Beach?

You can drive down in your private car, park in the parking space, or hire a taxi to reach this coastal area.

You can also take the metro on the Redline and alight at the Noor Bank metro station. It is about 5 km from the beach.

Alternatively, you can take a bus on transit lines 12, 8, 88, and X28. The bus stations nearest to the coast are Hassa Bint Al Murr Masjid (a 2-minute walk from the destination), Rashid Al Hadees Masjid (a 7-minute walk), and Mercato Shopping Mall (about an 11-minute walk).

From the Abu Dhabi Internationational Airport, you have access E11 to get to Al Manara Road or Interchange 3. Take Exit 43 on Sheikh Zayed Road. When coming from the Al Maktoum International Airport, access the Sheikh Zayed Road, and from Al Manara, take the 3rd exit.


The leisure activities and retail operations work from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. However, many activities get started before 10:00 am each day. You are requested to check with the concerned authorities beforehand.

Kite Surfing and Water Sports

Kitesurfing can be tried between 07:30 AM and 7:00 PM.

Go Kayaking

You can rent a single-seat or double-seat kayak and go on a dream cruise, solo or with your partner. It is best to check the price with the equipment store on the coast. The approximate rates for a single kayak are AED 60, a double-seat kayak is AED 80.

The beach has a 14-km-long walking or jogging track, a pleasure for morning joggers and walkers in the city. Other than this, you can rent beach umbrellas and loungers. Even towels can be rented here. Sunday to Thursday, the rent charges are AED 120 for individuals and AED 200 for couples. For Friday and Saturday, the charge is AED 240.

Kite Beach is also home to Splash N Party Waterpark, one of the most exciting waterparks in the city. It is a kids-friendly waterpark and the best place to host birthday parties and more. There are water slides and splash pools. The Waterpark is open from 9:00 am on all days. The park closes at 8:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and at 9:00 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

A typical family activity witnessed on the shoreline is the building of sand castles by kids and their families. The XDubai skate park is the brainchild of skaters. It has distinct areas for beginners and professionals. You can watch some incredible stunts being performed by pros on the beachfront. This area is chargeable. For an annual membership, the price is AED 1,000, while on a daily basis, the charge for using the park is AED 45 per person. The park is open from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM from Sunday to Friday. On Saturday, the park also opens in the morning, from 08:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

There is also the Wire World featuring a giant trampoline, an obstacle course, and a bungee swing (for kids aged ten years and more and adults). There is also the low rope course for kids called Accrobranche Junior. The place opens from 09:00 AM to 9:00 PM every day. You should check the ticket fares beforehand by calling the place.

Another spot of attraction for kids is the XPark Jr. It is a theme park with a forest-themed playground located next to this coast, offering activities like climbing wooden forts, cooking in a mud kitchen, creating secret hideouts, and many more interactive games with real-time learning experiences. Access to the place is chargeable, and it is open from 08:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
